Feels absolutely amazing to be back in NYC, one of my favorite cities in the world and for #NYFW arguably the best week out of year if you don’t factor in the other fashion week. I didn’t exactly jump right into shows either, I spent my Saturday shooting and exploring one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city.
I met up with my fabulous New Yorker friend and fellow blogger Darling Tee (Tania) for SoHo strolls, picture snaps and some good ol laughs. Blogger babes Awed by Monica (Monica) and Millennielle (Coco) joined in on the fun and of course we just had to have our Sex and the City moment captured by my amazing and talented husband. (Thanks babe)
Every time I visit New York City, I always discover some hidden gems that I’ve never been to before. New York has that way about her, its part of the charm and exactly why I love this city so much! After a quick bite at trendy eatery Jacks Wife Freda , my husband and I went to the most fabulous rooftop with the most incredible view in Soho.
The James Hotel brings an inspired experience to SoHo. Located on the corner of Thompson and Grand, the property was conceived and designed as a locally infused, artistically approachable and warmly modern hotel. A secret NYC rooftop pool retreat right in the middle Soho, the plunge pool is perfect for basking in the summer sun or in our case sipping cocktails at sunset. It’s the hotels sexiest and most coveted feature. Surrounded by the most inspiring views of the city skyline. Thank you Tania for the recommendation xx!
New York, I have arrived and it’s showtime! Stay tuned for NYFW recap number 2 where I will be highlighting the shows, my looks and of course more hidden gems of New York City
